Free Screen Saver Download
& Installation Instructions
Here you will find all the instructions you need to download and install
this free screen saver. This screen saver only uses about 1.5 megs of
memeory on your disk, so it will not take up much room and you can
uninstall it if you decide you do not like it!
Here is a sample screen shot of the screen saver while running,
reduced size of cousre:
First, you need to get a file from my web site. You may want to glance
through this whole page before you click on this link, that way you will
have an idea where you are going. It will bring up new browser window,
so you can still follow along on this page as you need to, by clicking on
the other browser button in your task bar. Click on the following link
and it will start you on your way.

When you click on the above link, a new browser will open and there
you will find another link to click on to continue with the download
and installation of the screen saver.
A window like this one should open up on your screen when you
click on the download link in the new browser window:
The 'Save in:' box at the upper left may not say the same thing on your
machine, but that is ok. Next to the right end of the 'Save In:' box there
is an icon that looks like a file folder with an arrow point left and up.
If you click on this icon, it will take you up one directory at a time.
Click on it until you see the location of your C: disk drive in the 'Save
In:' box like this below:
Now you need to click on the icon in the middle of the five icons at the
upper right of this 'Save as...' window, that looks like a file folder with
a star at the upper right corner of the folder. When you click on this,
in side the 'Save as...' window an folder icon with the name of 'New
Folder' highlighted should show up with the cursor flashing at the end
of the highlighted name. It should look like this:
Simply type out the following on your key board: BPE Screen Saver
It will appear in the folder name in place of 'New Folder' like this:
Then click return. Then double click on the folder icon we just named
and the 'Save as...' window will appear as below:
Now simply click on the 'Save' button on the lower left of the window
and the file will be download to you computer and saved in the directory:
C:\BPE Screen Saver
Once the file has finished downloading, close your internet connections
and your different applications you have running and then double click
on the 'My Computer' icon in the upper left corner of you screen. When
the window opens, double click on the drive C: icon. When it comes up,
find the icon for the folder we created before, BPE Screen Saver, and
double click on it. It should open up and show the file that was just
downloaded to your computer, bpe-flr1.exe. Double click on this file
and follow the screen prompts and it will install the screen saver on your
computer.
That should be it.
If you want to see what it looks like, you can either wait for it to take
affect after letting the computer set for the necessary time for the screen
saver to come on or you can test it this way: While looking at the
desktop, all applications minimized, move the cursor to an area with
no icons and right click with the mouse. This opens a small window
like this:
Click on the 'Properties' at the bottom and you should get the
'Display Properties' window, like this:
Click on the tab at the top that says 'Screen Saver', and this window
will change to look like this:
To see what the screen saver is like, left click on the 'Preview' button.
This will start the screen saver, but do not move the mouse or click it
or hit any keys on the keyboard until you are done looking at the
screen saver, as this will cause it to close and wait for the computer
to be unused for whatever the amount of minutes are set to in the
'Wait:' selection.
